Newspaper Employees Credit Union protects the privacy of its members (and other consumers) in accordance with applicable federal and state law. The Credit Union collects information about consumers from applications or other forms from transactions conducted with the credit union, from consumer reporting agencies and from government agencies such as the Department of Motor Vehicles.

We may disclose all of the information we collect as described above to third parties only for the purpose of performing marketing services on our behalf, or to other financial institutions with whom we have joint marketing agreements. We may also disclose information about members under other circumstances as permitted by law.

The Credit Union will maintain internal controls to protect the member’s nonpublic personal information. These controls include physical, electronics and procedural safeguards that comply with Federal regulations to guard your nonpublic personal information. Information should be provided only to employees on a “need to know” basis
