The Newspaper Employees Credit
Union was chartered by the State of Utah in
1931. We provide service to every adult resident of Salt Lake County. For many years we served the employees of
the Newspaper Agency Company, the Salt Lake
Tribune and Hurley Trucking Co. and their family
members. We have expanded to serve all residents of Salt Lake County.
Each deposit
account is insured up to $250,000 by the NCUA.
Our regular office
hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through
Friday. Phone the office at 801-204-6080. The Credit
Union also maintains an ATM machine on the premises.

For Tribune members, the Credit Union maintains an ATM machine in The Tribune's lunchroom. There is no charge for the use of this ATM with an NECU card.
In addition, we are associated
with the CU
Service Centers. This gives our members
access to their accounts at service centers
in Utah and across the country. Most of the
service centers are open until 7 p.m. weekdays
and on Saturdays.
We also have a "PD
Talk" service that offers information
to members on their accounts 24 hours a day
via the phone.
The Credit Union offers a variety

Low interest loans for worthwhile
purposes.
New and used vehicle loans,
signature and emergency loans.
Competitive rates on regular
savings and certificate accounts.
A variety of IRA account options.
Draft and debit/credit card
accounts.
Direct deposit from NAC payrolls
or withdrawals for bill payments.
Members can withdraw up to
$350 a day in cash from funds available in
their accounts.
Life Savings and Loan Protection
insurance at no additional cost.
"Gap" insurance
and disability insurance available at a nominal
fee.
No charge for credit counseling
and notary service
Joining the Credit Union is fast,
easy and practically painless. You will need
to bring your picture ID. The minimum deposit requirement
is $25.00, plus a one-time membership fee of
$1.00. We would welcome the opportunity to get
